Dave & Warren

Dave and Warren are professional builders who came to us with an idea. They had problems clearing up on-site and believed there must be a more convenient way to use flexible tubs for collecting rubbish.

Having discussed the idea with ourselves, we were able to put in a patent application on their behalf. With the security and protection of the application, Dave and Warren were able to produce a prototype. Our help didn't end there, and rarely does it! We discussed branding with them, where we evaluated options together. 

We also prepared and filed design applications to ensure we achieved rapid protection for the invention. On top of this, we registered seven different variations on the design. Our experience told us this was going to be important to avoid competitors making similar products around the main idea Dave and Warren had.

Bucket Beak was born. It was important that we protected Dave & Warren and offered them the best advice possible. We registered two trademarks, one for the name and one for the graphic. We even registered just the word 'beak' so that competitors who may wish to make attempts with variations could potentially be stopped.
